Michelle Hoffmann

Founder

​In rural Illinois where farms and fresh, local produce are plentiful, Michelle first learned to cook from her mother and five aunts. After working in restaurants through college and beyond, she joined the corporate world. Not long after her son was born in 2010, Michelle decided to leave her desk job and follow her real passions - family and food. ​

Michelle has her Certification in Organic Food from the Organic College at Albert's Organics and is a Certified Food Handler. She frequently speaks to parents around New York City about her realistic, stress-free & nutritious approach to childrens' mealtimes. As a passionate cook and busy & dedicated mom, wife, daughter & friend, Michelle incorporates an "Eat Local, Buy Local, Be Local" philosophy into every day of her family's life.  You can find her cooking at the Junior's Fresh Kitchen SOHO or at Yankee games with her husband and two young sons.

Hunter Hoffmann

Chief Marketing Officer

Farm fresh was a philosophy impressed upon Hunter from the start - as a baby his parents always made his food. Family, fun and food remain his true passions in life.

Hunter’s professional experience includes PR and marketing roles for various products and organizations in the US and internationally. He even found time to do an independent study on the Basics of Farmstead Goat Cheese Production at Side Hill Acres Farm while pursuing his MBA at Cornell in Ithaca, NY.

Elizabeth Weinberg

Executive Chef

Executive Chef Elisabeth Weinberg is a contributor to the team and the owner of Miss Elisabeth's Catering. Chef Elisabeth employs seasonal, organic and local foods, with attention to the highest quality ingredients and as a passionate supporter of local farms our collaboration was only natural.  She shops almost exclusively at the Union Square Greenmarket and believes a chef is only as good as her ingredients.  As a new mom, she has become even more aware of the importance of what children eat.

After graduating from Barnard College, Elisabeth decided to pursue her love of cooking professionally and established Miss Elisabeth’s Catering in the Spring of 2003.  Recently, she added Chopped Champion to her already impressive resume. Chef Elisabeth is a native New Yorker and graduate of NYC’s French Culinary Institute.

Megan Wolf
Dietary & Nutritional Consultant

Megan Wolf is a New York City based Registered Dietitian and the owner of Megan Wolf Nutrition LLC, a nutrition counseling and consulting private practice. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She is a speaker, an avid cook, recipe creator and writer for her blog, The Domesticated Wolf. Follow her on social media for more recipe inspiration and healthy living ideas.
